Repacking standard NC30 exhaust
Hi all,
I've tried searching though not found anything conclusive.
Is there anyone who can/will re-pack the original exhaust for an NC30.
I know the whole thing is welded so wasn't sure if it can be re-packed though the outlet.
It's sounding a bit raspy or is this normal on the stock exhaust?
Many thanks!
Mat

It will be a case of cutting it open, packing it and trying to reweld it. To be honest the baffle inside is made out of mild steel so it may have rotten away also. I would leave well alone and just put up with it.

Thanks for that, I feared as much.
Seems a shame they used mild steel.
The rest of the bike is absolutely spot on and in mint cond it's only the rasp that lets it down :'(

I shouldn't worry too much about it. Just check the welds for signs that somebody hasn't cut it already and removed the baffle. It has been known.
What model is it? Get some pics up I live standard NC's.

It's an NC30
It's a non standard colour but very tastefully done.
