Fork disassembly

The damper rod bolt doesn't come off. The threaded bottom of the damper rod just seems to rotate. I have tryed compress the fork leg without result. I have also tried to keep the damper rod stuck inside the fork leg.
On the other leg that is disassembled the threaded bottom also rotates. Is it okay?
Anyone who has an advice for a simple amateur mechanic?

Re: Fork disassembly
Air-gun! / impact driver (make sure good fitting socket)
Do you have local mechanic with air-gun (or have yourself).. they can unscrew very quickly.
It needs shock to come off.
Otherwise you need to compress the fork good (strap)
