gsxr 400 gk73a temp gauge
im new on here but what a fourum .......
hi all just past my test brought a zzr 400 and a gsxr 400 gk73a
the problem im having is that the gsxr runs mint but after running for about 5 mins the temp gauge goes from 0 to the top off the red but the engine still feels cool is there any think that it could be other than head gasket ...
any ideas would be much appreciated thanks

I would say it's time for an engine strip down. Don't keep running it like that, it's telling you there's a problem. I'd suspect the head gasket.
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

I haven't a clue bud but from what I've read on here I don't think it's that straight forward. Try searching the GSXR Workshop board, I'm sure the question has been asked numerous times.
