Thread pitch?
Can anyone tell me the size/pitch of an nc engine bolt?

The two on the right are M10 x 40mm. The left front is the same but the left rear is M10 x 50mm. I can't remember if they're fine pitch or not.

threads metric common pitch is 1.25

Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.

The engine bolts and subframe bolts are 1.25 pitch fine pitch, m10 normally are 1.5mm corse pitch.

The head bolts will be course for ease of fitting,1.5mm.

The Honda Common service manual is useful it has all of the pitches for different types of bolts they use on bikes.. obviously there are some exceptions and these are docuemented too.thunderace wrote:twist&go wrote:threads metric common pitch is 1.25
