My first NC30
Hi I'm Tom. I'm 22 and from Sheffield
I currently ride a Yamaha wr125x but have got myself an NC30 frame with the intention of building a bike for when I pass my bike test.
I'm wanting to build a t10 Tyga kitted one I no not to everyone's taste but I personally like the t10 fairing set.
Anyway here's the start of my project I stripped down the late spec forks
I'm going to rebuild them with new seals and a rick o spring upgrade kit as soon as I order one and also some new adjusters the bottoms are going to be powder coated matt black
here they are all stripped

I noticed something though whilst stripping them the spacers look a lot smaller and different to the pic in the Haynes manual. Was wondering if theyve had an upgrade in the past. Do these look like an upgrade kit to any one?

Tom,
the forks you have came from an ex race bike so may well have been uprated, I can't say for sure though.

Picked up my first lot of parts from the powdercoaters this morning
Fork bottoms

Yokes

Swingarm

And frame sub frame and swinging arm

I'm very impressed by them they look better than I expected can't wait to start building it now.
Don't suppose anyone knows anywhere that does zinc plating in Sheffield?

Re: My first NC30
Well bought a spare bike to use for parts such as the engine and full ethos system got the carbs stripped cleaned and service it with oil filter plugs and leads and it started first time.
Now need to start putting my frame ack together and get it rolling. Waiting on a nitron rear shock from rick o.
After seeing deviants and Alex's race replicas I now fancy going down that route with a Suzuka fairing and rc45 style seat. Unsure of what race livery to go for though so suggestions welcome and it needs to go well with the black frame.

Well received my nitron shock from rick o today it's beautiful lol it's 10mm longer than stock as that's what rick recommended and who am I to argue lol

Also dropped a lot of bolts of for zinc coating and a few more bits and pieces at the powder coaters
I can't recommend rick o enough
