NC30/NC35 clutch push rod
Hello,
My NC30 clutch push rod has more notches on it than a gigolo's bed post. As yet lever action is still relatively smooth, if somewhat stiff. However, I feel that now might be a good time to look at replacing it if possible.
The NC30 rod (22850-MR8-000) is not available new, however the NC35 one (22850-MR8-900) is available new.
There are a few on ebay, but hard to tell the quality of an out of focus picture and a description that says "taken for a running bike".
Spoke to the NC30 Oracle (Rick Oliver) he reckons the NC35 one is probably only a few mm longer, and might work.
So my question..... has anyone tried an NC35 rod in an NC30 ? can anyone confirm the length of the NC35 push rod ? I am assuming the diameter is the same, and the length is different due to the different number of plates.
In short NC35 push rod in an NC30, will it work ?
thanks in advance..
