nc30 suspension linkages

does the nc30 share the same bottom linkage as the nc35 ive changed over to a r6 rear shock and the bike seen to be sitting lower ive put the bottom linkage in correct any ideas on how to get it sitting a bit higher cheers stu

The 35 linkage will make it sit a little higher but not a lot. I thought the R6 shock was longer than the NC shock, did you measure the length of it before you put it in?

It is by about an inch. Shorter dog bones are needed to raise the rear end.

So the R6 shock is longer? then why is his bike now sitting lower?

Is the spring preload set too soft.
The 35 link raises back end by around 15mm from memory

tbh i never measured them against each other but im going to take it out at the weekend to see the difference the shocky is brand new so is on standard settings

Yep, that can be the only reason why it's sitting lower if you didn't change anything else.

is the r6 lighter than the nc30 ? i will try a 35 linkage and wind the preload up a bit to see if that improves things if not a new spring and get some nice adjustable dogbones made up
