What other model discs will be compatible with the GK76A?
Hi guys im new to the gsxr400, me and my bro have just picked up a gsxr400 gk76 and the discs are a bit worn. So we are looking to replace them asap, are there any other model bikes discs that will fit without any modification? ideally we are looking to get some good used ones but if they are too hard to find it will be some EBC's.
Bit of info about the bike: its a 1992 H reg imported in 1999 with roughly 6000 miles on the clock sold in 2000 and all 5 owners have been within 30 miles of my home town. It has all old MOT's to back up the current mileage of 9000, dream machine paintjob looks like the yellow and black GSXR600's really genuine clean bike, carbs where ultrasonicly cleaned a few months ago with new o-rings. Only thing that lets it down are the discs and tyres we got it for 1100, chuffed to say the least :D heres a pic

Suzuki RGV250 VJ22
GSX-R750 W/X/Y/K1 (98-03)

Cheers guys gunna probably get some good used GSXR 750 disc's, we're trying to improve the braking its horrendous atm but i spose it would be with what looked like 20 year old brake fluid! New pads wont go a miss either i think.

im going to have a look and see if the discs from my old mans 96 750 fit before buying anything, ive got a suzuki dealer a few miles away so ill probley try and get some info from them. Im determined to find a service manual for this too, the garage this bike was originally imported by is only a mile down the road from my house and im sure they will have one lieing around somewhere, theres a gk76 engine completly stripped down in the workshop too so plenty of engine parts to pilfer if anything goes wrong :DArmi400 wrote:In all honesty....i don't think the fasxr discs listed are the same.
