18" tyre choice

Post by Drunkn Munky » Wed Jan 25, 2012 9:19 pm

Are BT090's the only sticky choice now for 18" rears? Not that i dont like them but i prefered the dunlops although not seen any of them of sale for ages.

Surely you mean stick a 17" rim in?? i would but cant be arsed to shell out for one unless its a magtek and TBH i think the 18" looks better.

no fuck that, i think the 17" looks crap even on the RVF (although being white helps)
you can fit BT 016's or 014's but i like the 090's myself
i will say though old brittle tyres even if "new" are crap, fresh 090's are great

Thats a good price! never heard of visorshop before. Have they got a good reputation?

Just got to decide between a slightly too wide 016 or the older but correct width 090....

I've only ever used them for the odd 'track-use only' visor but, as Marcus said, they're very quick to deliver. No complaints at all.

my local shop have BT090s on tap.

My dead no9 is wearing a 200 mile old one....

I don't like the profile on 160/60/18 - too tall by far
