the basic one is fine i have one on my RVF
locate the resevior under the seat on the righ hand side with the rear elevated, vacuum from the obvious place between the fuel vacuum, and oil feed follows the rear brake hose and the drip bolts to the swingarm chain guard bolt.
set to 2 gives enough of a drip to oil the chain.

The standard one is fine,
I stopped fitting the feed pipe to the rear sprocket, it blocks easily, only lubes 1 side of the chain, needs pipe/tiewraps along the swingarm & snaggs when refitting the rear wheel (not a prob on the '30/5). Much better to fit the outlet behind the front sprocket.

Not on an NC30 but I'm sure it'd fit somehow just make sure that there is no less than 5mm or so sticking down otherwise the oil doesn't drip, it just runs along the chain slider.
BTW, don't laugh at my anti-corrosion policy
