Well I'm sorta new to them, but not new to 400's.
I have the NC29 here. viewtopic.php?f=69&t=31490
And the NC35 here...viewtopic.php?f=23&t=29392
I have been having a 1WG with a 3TJ swinger (I believe) with a Built EX500 motor in it. I bought it like that as a guy built it for a specific class over here. But that motor has since blown up so I figured I'd get a 400 lump and put it back in as a back up. The Chassis handles like a dream.
Current specs of that bike are
1988 1WG Frame might have a 3TJ swingarm, yall will have to let me know that one
Stock 400 motor 14k miles.
FZR600 Forks with Traxxion Dynamics internals
Fox Twin Clicker Shock
NRC case covers
Going to run a Total loss
Full Yoshi system
Plan on installing a Factory Pro jet kit but don't know about the filter yet.
The plan is to send the motor to a shop that Specializes in FZR's and they will install a 490cc kit in it (spec regs for a race class here). Going to put out between 82-85hp with flatties.
This is it as the Hybrid.

I also purchased as a package deal the below listed bike that came with another 1WG Rolling chassis with a stock 400 motor.
The below bike has the following
1989 Yamaha FZR400
2mm overbore (428cc)
Megacycle X9 cams
"Head work" - ported & valve job
Crank lightened and balanced by APE
Total Loss Setup with stock engine starter and stock battery
NRC Racing Engine Case Cover
Keihin FCR33 Flatslide Carbs
Honda CBR600F3 Radiator
EBC Pro-Lite full floating front brake rotors
EBC brake pads with stock 1989 calipers
Fox Rear Shock with adjustable ride height
Woodcraft CFM Rearsets
(2) Honda CBR600F2/F3 Rear 17" Wheels
