Help needed on a few things...
Hi guys and gals! Does anyone know the best way to silence the beeper for the turn signal on my import FZR400 (3TJ)? I've found the offending article under the pillion seat, but when I unplug it, it kills the indicators completely. Is it just a case of stripping back the two wires that go into it and link them up - and binning said part?
Also, does anyone know where I can get a rear hugger from?
And, having spent the morning fettling with the bike, i've decided that I really dislike the rear light. Has anyone ever changed theirs, and does anyone have any bright ideas as to what might look pretty trick?
Cheers in advance for any advice!
Dave

gaffa tape (lots) round the beeper should keep it quiet! you can try the wire link by getting a pin and pushing it through the wires you mention if it works then you can do a more permanent job! As for rear huggers, i'm not sure if there are any but did you try skidmarx? there are bound to be others along soon that will tell you if they are available!
for the rear light you could get a single race seat unit and pretty much cut and fit the light you wanted i suppose, depends how confident you are with that sort of thing!

I like the rear light on them. You'll find the same style on the 600R Foxeye and YZF750 ... I supose you could take the black surround off.
The 4DX (the official import) has a different light but also has different panels.
