FZR 400 3TJ Subframe?
Hi,
Can someone tell me about the back section of the frame on these models. Just looking at pictures there is a long triangle of aluminium that runs up to the seat, like a subframe. Is that bolted to the main frame or is it welded? I cannot find a parts book or a close picture of the frame at that section.
Thanks

Re: FZR 400 3TJ Subframe?
the subframes are bolted on on the 3tj and 3en 400's. i think some 600 were welded.
the 3tj is a steel tube type fitting with 4 bolts on the main frame. the rest of it is welded together.

The triangle section that goes to back of the seat is the frame. The subframe is black tube and bolts on behind it
