Exhaust
I have a suzuki gsxr400 1989, i want twin exhausts, how would i got about doing this, what are my options, is it a case of a straight bolt on pipes, are they all the same width apart from where you connect them, would there be some welding involved, thanks
this is what i mean, the twin exhausts down one side

"Shotgun Silencers"
If you want to do them properly the exhaust needs to divide under the belly pan and come out parrallel. Then you need to calculate the diameter of pipe to be used to get the area roughly similar to what you have already.
Really they use two pipes when one pipe is going to be too noisy, you get more surface area per baffle.
It looks ok when it's done righ looks stoopid when it isn't and it's very hard to get right.
Better left as a 4 into 1
