G'day lads,

I have the NC30 engine out of my bike and the heads are coming off and will be receiving a clean up.

While i've got it apart i want to clean up the casting marks and knife edge the intake and exhaust splitters and polish the exhaust ports.

I will inspect the valve seats and do some light lapping of the valves too.

Any comments on this work from others who have done it?

Going to skim the heads for extra comression so, I'm getting a quote on laser cut shims to lift cam towers etc from here:

In that thread i noticed quite a few people expressed interest in the shim set,

So while i'm at it, who would be keen for a set?

I was thinking around 0.3mm or 0.4mm perhaps?
