Michelin Power One's, anyone using them?
Need some new tyres for my NC29 and thought id try something different than the usual BT090's and supercorsa's and stumbled on the michelin power one's. Sound a great tyre especially trackday compounds so heres some questions?
Can the trackday compounds be used on the road legally? I'll only be doing minimal road miles.
Whats the difference in street and track? do the track compounds need more heat in them to work?
What compounds work well on a 400? im thinking A (soft) front and B (med) rear

Get some part worns mate - far cheaper and especially if you'll be tracking it.

I would go down the part worn supercorsa route as usual but 160's dont go well on a standard NC29 rear do they? and ive never come across any decent part worn BT090's ever.
Its just theres a brand new 150 power one comp B going cheap so thats what got me interested

I use 160's as well.
Only cos they look fatter and more cool than the 150's.
Dont ask me about handling Im a chicken and only go fast-ish in a straight line.

160 here too.
I ride an NC29 and my tyres don't last long, a rear is junk in no time (SC2). I would never buy part worns, only because my feeling is that Pirelli's drop off too quick. But that's just me...

Tony, i had a set of the michelins and had a love hate thing going on, if they are warm they are real good and if cool they will shit the living daylights out of you as they just let go with NO warning. I have the new BT003's now and love them.
