Gap between nosecone and screen
I have just fitted a clear screen on my nc35. There is a gap of a few mm though between the screen and the nosecone though. I was wondering if it is a bit dangerous as air could get through when riding?

Re: Gap between nosecone and screen
I know it might sound a bit weird, but I am just worried if it will decrease stability at speed.

Re: Gap between nosecone and screen
not dangerous just looks shit
could be the result of a bad fitting screen. you could try loosening all the screws and wellnuts and refitting it starting from the front and tightening evenly all the way round towards the mirror mounts be careful not to over do it or you could crack the fairing if the screens a really bad chinese job ?

Re: Gap between nosecone and screen
I have tried refitting the screen a few times, starting from the front, but it still leaves a gap. Glad it's not dangerous anyway. I think it might actually be a badly fitting chinese one.

You could try slotting the holes in the screen to give a little lateral movement.

Re: Gap between nosecone and screen
Don't worry about it
My race fairing had gaps, so I bought some thin rubber trim (about 70p/meter) and edged the fairing - sealing any gaps, and finishing off nicely - like the stuff AirBlade send out to finish scree, just skinnier.
Wind wont be an issue, as long as your travelling forwards! The air will rush up the nose-cone and over the screen.
I'd try as others have suggested - check your screen brace also, may be worth fitting the screen without the mirrors + screen brace attached and see how it fits?
If no joy, get some trim and edge it if you still don't like the gap.

Re: Gap between nosecone and screen
Thanks for the advice guys.
I ordered a new Tyga screen a few days ago as the old one was scratched and a bit faded. I fitted it today hoping there wouldn't be a gap, but there still is.
I think I will just leave it now, as it doesn't look too bad.
