okay so i just got my new bike today. none of the lights are working on it however. the only ones that work is the oil and netural indicators. thats all. i have no speedo backlight no brake lights no signals and no headlights working.. anyone know what the problem is? is it a fuse? or a regulator?

Bulbs,Connectors or Fuses.
Start with the simple one first (fuses)

Would start with fuses, there is one for headlights and one for most other lights. Sounds like both have failed. Would also give the electrical system the once over as to have fuses fail would suggest other problems. The bike runs ok?

Fuses are under the pillion seat, you will have to stick you finger in the hole and find the lever to release the seat, it can be a challenge.

My error for not reading your first post carefully, if oil and neutral indicators ok then had to be more than a blown fuse. Are we talking NC30 or NC35. Do your stop lights work?

its an nc 30 and no the stop lights are not working either, but my stop lights are not actually connected to the wiring loom, i found that out today. and i cannot find the other socket to plug it into...so there might not even be any wiring loom in the bike :\ i just dont know. i havent taken off the fairings as i dont have a shed and its raning alot.magg wrote:My error for not reading your first post carefully, if oil and neutral indicators ok then had to be more than a blown fuse. The brake lights need to be disconnected to remove the rear fairing. There should be a little connector (if you were sat on the bike) it'd be at the rear left of the bike in the bundle of cables leading to the CDI.

Re: none of the lights are working apart from....
I asked about the stop lights because if they are working it helps isolate your problem to the common link for all your remaining lights, which is the light function switch. Perhaps the switch is not connected properly or there is a fault in the loom to this switch.
