Whats stuggling? Blip the throttle as you lightly kick into neutral, common fault when hot. Otherwise adjust clutch cable tension by moving the nuts located at either end of the cable, too tight a cable will cause the clutch to slip

You would not have this problem with a hydraulic clutch

Are you sure the cable is not knackered

I think you would.

First off check that your chain is tensioned correctly and your clutch cable properly adjusted and not overly stretched. (5-10mm play at handle)

The most common reason is clutch-drag (the clutch stays partially engaged)

This is most often caused by wear to the clutch basket.

Grooves start to develop in the clutch basket which hold the plates in place and stop them from 'releasing' properly.

If you take all the plates out and check there all in spec, along with the springs and metal, replace any dodgy ones and either file the clutch basket smooth or buy a new one (pricey) your problems should go away.

Most people just blip the throttle to 3-4k and lift it up slowly.. once you know how to do it then it's really easy.

only other way is overhaul the clutch, basket included.

This is a common fault with the NC30,
mine did it when it was brand new.
