NC30 Top Out Springs - Does it have any??

Post by 999Gomerz »

Hi, I have done a search but cant find anything.

I pulled the springs out of a NC30 L model withcartridge forks and aftermarket linear springs and it appeared as ift here was no top out springs.

Is this correct??

I don't think they use any.

There's a parts diagram here, it covers early and late models:

Thanksfor your replies guys.

I understand the top outspring is located inside thecartridge if it is present. But my question is if hte NC30 cartridges indeed have a top out spring as when I was pulling up on the top nut without springs installed i didnot feel any top out spring resistance?

Apologies for my poor desription, the top out spring is about half way down the cartridge. You will not see it unless you remove the cartridge.
