Weak air pressure coming out from exhaust.

Post by niteblade »

Hi guys,

my NC35 has been serving me well. no problems at all. However i noticed that my exhaust pumps out significantly weaker air then my dad's and brother's bikes (super4 and CBR4)

EG, when i put my hand behind the exhaust to feel the air being pumped out. it feels much less and weaker as compared to the other two bikes.

our idling is roughly the same.

could this be a sign of a serious problem? lack of compression???

Lack of compression and it'd run like crap and be down on power.

If the bikes runnning well there is probably nothing wrong with it.

First off your comparing totally different bikes.. I4's vs a V4..

You also need to take into account exhaust design.

One with smaller internals will create more 'pressure' to feel than one with a larger internal diameter.. it also depends on the can and other things.
