Have you guys got any advice on tidying up my speedo surround
I cant stop the clutch adjuster scratching the edge of the clock without adjusting it so it's very uncomforatble to ride.
I can't seem to find a happy medium.
Any advice? I gather this is a common issue.
Thanks in advance.

You should be able to loosen the clutch perch and move it up slightly, you only need to raise it a few MM.

Hi Marly, your right its common and actually normal but annoying all the same.
try moving the perch outwards a couple of extra mm, so its v tight up to the grip, that may give you the adjustment you need

Thanks for the info guys.
Will see if I can get it any further out towards the grip. I think a part of the perch knocks against the switchgear if it's too close tho.
If I move it any higher up, it gets quite painful after a long ride.
I'd always wondered why the PO had the levers up so high!
The next thing is, once I've managed to get the clearence, can anyone recommend a way to tidy up the surround?
Thanks.

I have my clutch perch and lever also pointing up at an unsightly angle. I would love for it to be pointing down a little like my brake lever. Is there nothing that can be done with the clock brackets to shift the speedo back a little?

If it's hitting the speedo it's not on correctly.
This is often the cause of crash damage, it knocks the clutch lever out of alignment.
Fortuantly, Honda in their wisdom put Punch Marks in everything to help you line it up.
If you look at the clutch lever mounting bracket (it has 2 8mm head M6 bolts in it) and loosen these off.
On the actual handlebar there is a small punch mark.. the seam of the clutch leaver bracket should line up with this punch mark.

Thanks Neo.
Will take a look for this punch mark later.
So, the next question, if I manage to get the lever aligned so it doesn't touch the speedo, is there any way to replace just the top part of that speedo?

Found the punch mark.
I'm not too far away from it (about 1mm at most).
The problem is, the nearer to the punch I get, the more uncomfortable it is.
I may see if I can get lock nut with a smaller diameter.
