A few questions, Any help would be great.
Hey guys and girls,
I was unlucky enough to have to put my bike into the shop, I had somehow managed to split a carb body and needed it replaced plus it was coming up to a balance anyway,
I have got it all back and with my full race exhaust and dyno tune, I have picked up a miserable 3hp, so im at 54hp at the wheel, I have also found I need a new air filter and a new tail light bulb
that all aside is running great,
What I want to know is the following,
Can someone give me a step by step guide for a quick turn throttle, My mate has just done one on his R1 using a milk bottle cap and some other bits and bobs, pictures would be appreciated also,
Is there any place that sells after market LED brake lights, I have herd of Ducati 916 ones fitting with a little bit of adjustment and new tabs, (brackets and tabs arnt an issue as a buddy of mine is a plastic fabricator) I would love one with intergrated indicators if thats even possible.
My rear shock is old as shit, as to be expected from a 91 NC30 but when you push down on the seat the shock is fine but when it rebounds it sucks in air, I figured it may need a revulvae but I was told that its a prick of a job and it would be easier to get a new shock, so what are my best options for rear shocks? I dont have a hell of alot of money to spend, im about 100kgs and use the bike mainly for the road with the occasional track day.
Last but not least (im sure ill think of something later on)
My front forks are feeling soft and spongy, have considered adding another 10ml of oil to see if it will correct but I think it will just blow the seals instead, so im thinking of rebuilding the front forks with new springs etc as I want slightly stiffer front forks anyway, so can someone direct me to the best place to get maybe a full kit?
