NC30 Shim Calculator

Post by VFR400+ »

Not sure if anyone has done one before but having just done my shims, decided the easiest way to work out what size shims was needed to replace the current ones with was to put it all down on excel.

It allows you to put in the current valve clearance, current shim and will then work out the shim wanted to the nearest 0.05. Then show what the clearance should be once replaced.

Thought it may been of use for others if not please ignore :peace:
Note: Ive not done any real tests on it so if any errors are found I can try and work out what Ive screwed up :?
Its for the Nc30 as I wasnt sure of tolerances for other models.

The file can be downloaded from here: http://www.4shared.com/document/u1LLym0 ... lator.html

Its the first time Ive used such a site to host a file so if there are better ways to do it I'm all ears :P
