NC35 rear single sided paddock stand

Post by dan1978 »

I ordered a rear paddock stand for my NC35 recently. The spindle that was included doesn't fit my bike. I was wondering what size spindle I need for it? I think the make of the paddock stand is bikeit.

From another company's website, the pin dimensions you need are as follows (I've just been through this same drama):

Length = 75mm
Diameter = 28.4mm

Hope this gets you out of trouble.

Ben.

I thought diameter was the same as NC30, and that's 31.5mm.
How hard can it be?

It is possible that I am wrong but I was referencing the Constands catalogue:

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Mick is correct. A lot of stand companies try to use a smaller diameter pin because it fits more Hondas (e.g. VFRs and the NT650), but the correct diameter is ~31.5mm. I think only the NC30/35, RC30/45 use the 31.5mm pin, but could be wrong (can't remember the RS250 and MC28 diameters off the top of my head - they may use it as well).
