NC29 Vacuum Hose Bungs?

Hey all,
Am helping my mate, well actually i'm doing it all!
service and get his NC29 running again after it's been sat for over a year. Decided to strip the carbs off and clean for him.
Coming from each of the vacuum holes on the cylinders there is some plastic tubing about 6-8 inches long each and in SOME of them are small white bungs (this would explain why his bike never ran correctly).
My question is what is standard for this bike (I've an NC30 so not used to the 29). Should these trailing hoses be there (I assume it's for easier access for balancing the carbs etc) and the bungs seem to be what I can only describe as a polystyrene type material?? Are these both standard parts and if so where is best to get them (graeme france?).
If this isn't standard then what is correct for this instead?
Cheers all.
