Re: Turbo charging
what cams are you using, compression ratio and have you a compressor map for the turbo.

Re: Turbo charging
hey stripes
the pistons are GK75/76 pistons that I've machined the tip off to flaten the piston top and running double base gasket i have not as yet measured the comp
im using stock k705 cams (52hp spec) but have k706(54hp spec) cams the profile is very close but its been suggested to use the k705 items due lower lift the
sloted k706 cam sprockets are used due to crank selection and both late 706 and later motors use the 215FTH cam chain unlike the early k706 and k705 motors that use 219FTH cam chain
i dont have a turbo map for the unit and have trolled the web in search of one in terms of cdi ive got a box full to choose ive got the k705 twin pick-up (rev lim 12,500rpm) bandit gk75 (rev lim 13,500) and bandit gk75 VC i also have electronic non-advancing units so thats why im wanting to know what ign. timing to use as ive a choose of units and i could mod the cover to adjust pick-up mounts to change the base timing

Re: Turbo charging
i would be tempted to set the actuator release at about 6 psi to start but i have a feeling the turbo will be to big.
