Re: Carb sync
Never mind found it.. Was expecting it to be in the inlet tract like the rest. Well it is in the inlet tract but in a different place.

Re: Carb sync
Do you mean C4? as in front right as you sit on the bike?
If you do it's the easiest one to get to as it is just below and right of the thermostat housing

Re: Carb sync
This is doing my head in. 4 &2 are off the scale. 1 & 3 are 1/4 the way up. So I've tried to back 1 &3 off but nothing seems to be working. One minute turning a screw out slows it down, then the next it speeds it up! What am I doing wrong?
It's now ticking over at 4k without the bloody idle screw.

Re: Carb sync
Are you doing 30 or 35 carbs?
Did the bike idle okay before you started?

Re: Carb sync
Nc30, it idled at the correct revs but was lumpy and the readings were miles out. I'm using a Haynes but it doesn't actually tell me anything about which screw does what and which way to turn them. Total chocolate fireguard!!skinnydog0_0 wrote:Are you doing 30 or 35 carbs?

Re: Carb sync
You need to get No2 + No4 sync'd Single adjuster - then sync 1 to 3 Adjuster next to Cylinder1 - then sync 1 and 3 to 2 and 4 by using the adjuster next to Cylinder3.
Are the carbs seated properly?
Are the adjuster screws moving freely, and are you making sure you are not pushing on the screws as this will make the revs rise?
make an adjustment and blip teh throttle and let the revs settle, then see where you are.
