Well Well Well, after months of Umming and Arring, ive stepped back in time,

to a Time When England Ruled the World (Footbally) 1966!

i have a D Registered BSA C15 F SS 250cc Single 4 Stroke :)

the work will begin tomorrow after ive taken a shed load of pics! im also going to buy a diary and list things done and how much im spending.

i said to kel im gonna have to get a new open face lid, goggles, old leather jacket, and thick wooly socks!

yes mate a PROPER job, youve seen the depth i went with the NC and that was just the learning curve

the cbr only needs paint now
all thats left with the NC is paint which isnt going to be done after the summer,
and to sort the carbs out which will be done today/tomorrow.
and then over haul the engine come the winter the nc is about 85% done imo :)

Ive got 1 of those BSA 250SS's sitting in my "Living room" its not quite as together looking as yours but its all there. Mine is a bit different though, its a B25-SS-EE model, so its a trials / enduro version, with an upswept exhaust etc & mine hasnt been used in 30 years, has been in a damp shed but only has 8500 on the clock - an easy project but mines going as it is - cant be arsed with it.

I'd be after similar money as what you paid, the b25 is a rare bike and nothing is broken as far as im aware, even the switch gear flaps are intact.
After 6-8 months of owning it & finally getting around to getting it running (even if only for just 1 min) ive just sent off for the V5 last week, so i should have it in a week or 2.

I'll get it out of the house over the weekend & get some pics.

Ive got a few "old" bikes @ my house - also got a Kawasaki KH250 triple 2t - with original Allspeed pipes!
A Grieves Anglian or Scottish, trials bike (not sure which) mod'd with a BSA tank & hand made exhaust.

We have a lot of bikes!

nice one colin i have a freind that has an imaculate B25 its worth a fortune!

if only id have know this yesterday id have snapped your hands off, hang on to it for another 6 months and ill buy it off you, or if you wanna donate it to me ill restore it and then go 50/50 on the sale?
