Tyga Steering Stopper Q

I'm in daft mode atm...wondering, is the tyga steering stopper all that necessary? What does it actually do for u?

Shortens the sterring lock, id imagine tyga use them to stop the bars fouling the bodywork but i have a HRC one on mine which looks the same and is fine for road use.

i did this,

centre punch,
5mm drill bit
m6 3 stage tap set
2 x 25mm-30mm m6 a2 stainless allen cap head bolts,
2 x m6 a2 hex nut
2 x m6 washer
