worn gear lever
when ive gone out on my bike i can get all the gears fine but every once in a while it wont slot staight in with a positive response. I think it is because there is too much side to side movement on the gear lever where it pivots.
Whats the best method to repair this?
It has probably worn on both the lever and the footpeg mount so im guessing its expensive to buy new genuine yam.

Re: worn gear lever
I'm guessing you've already had a look around it to see if there's anything missing ?
There could be a circlip on the foot peg but I'm not sure I think the peg just locates the gear shift. You might find a FZR600 rearset / foot peg / gear change will fit and so you might find one on e-bay.
