3TJ Riders Seat.
Hi Guys,
I'm starting to think that the riders seat on my bike has been cut down for some short person.
When I sit on the bike with my feet on the floor, I can feel some defined edges of the seat foam on my thighs. It also feels a bit lacking in padding when riding along.
Is this normal or has my seat been modified?
Alex.

I think they are pretty thin compared to othres i've ridden, but it could just have had a lot of use and the padding deteriorated.

I didn't think they had enough padding to be cut down !!!
Maybe you just need to refurbish it and put in one of those silicon comfort pads.

This pic is taken from a highish building
Have a look at the pillion saddle, it's got extra foam and a gel pad. My other half likes it a lot more the original "wood plank". I know Triumph do a gel option for the Daytona and BMW probably do them too, maybe if theres a dealers near you they might have one you can have a look at

Yes it's a Bagster tank cover, it makes putting a tank bang on easy, which is useful.

Re: 3TJ Riders Seat.
Does anyone know of a good company to get seats restored? The foam in mine seems to have collapsed, and pillions are always complaining about the hard ride... Will also need to be re-covered as there are rips in the cover.
Saying that, is there a cheaper alternative, like buying sets to do it yourself? many thanks...
