Hey. Just wondering is there an alternative to the standard lower radiator? orrrrr can they be recored? how much?

Someone got it done here a while ago. I got quoted 200ish for a recore. Makes better sense getting a larger one from Rick Oliver.

I had mine recored for £160 by Northern radiators. It works...but is pricy

My Dad and I replaced the lower rad with one from a Peugeot Speedfight on my bike, you'll need to do a bit of work to make it fit but on the upside these rads are usually available on eBay for not a lot.

They are thinner cored though and IMO are not worthwhile as a replacement.

If you need it to put you on over winter, then good arrows!

messaged a guy on here who does a standard size replacement built by the guys who build new honda rads....£202 delivered....only good reports....next one for me will come from there!
