NC30/35 Switchgears Interchangeable?
Just wondering if the L/H switchgears are interchangeable between the VFR and the RVF?...just saw a close up pic of the end connectors on the 30 and they look somewhat different to that of the 35 so want to make definitely sure
Cheers

plugs are different also on the RVF the lights are on all the time and as such one switch blanked off.

all good :) u gave me some knowledge
the Oz NC30s like the NC35, also have constant headlights so i assumed they were the same (also share the same looking switchgear except all black) until i saw the plugs which put some doubt into my mind

The pins on the connectors are in different spots.
So no, they're not compatible without chopping wires.

you could always pop the connector pins out of the plugs and reposition them within a NC30 plug without cutting.Cammo wrote:The pins on the connectors are in different spots.

youll need a scalpel handle & blade or as i use a dental scraper to push the little tang in and then slide them out of the plug,
its the little sticking up bit in the midle that is designed for them to lock into the plug.you need to push it in its slightly spring loaded as such.
