Hi guys looking for some info has any one run the 30 engine with no air box and with just foam filters on the stacks and straight though pipes just looking for ruff jet sizes that I may need for dyno setup Nick

You'll be needing around 160 size jets with no airbox or significant filtering material.

BUT....

There are other mods and parts needed for the carbs to work properly with no airbox. Believe me, it will be a waste of time taking it to a dyno without the following:

- hrc emulsion tubes
- hrc needles
- #40 pilot jets
- hrc velocity stacks (very hard to get now - need to restrict your air jets in another way)
- and main jets #140-145 with this setup

For the amount of ballache and the limited gains, yotu would be better off sticking with an airbox and relatively standard carb setup.

Would be cool to see a V4 powered quad..I think!

Thanks guys will contact the guy with the carb bits as for the quad it is already built runs great but has a nasty flat spot mid-range
