My project progress
Hello all,
Thought I'd best post this and let you all see what I'm upto.
Basically in March sometime I purchased an nc23 with no fairing on for 300 quid, which I didnt think was too bad. It's my second 23, last one I had was 8 odd years ago, cost me 1500 quid then (!) and I ended up spending the same again on it by way of a certain Mr France on here lol.
Anyway since then the new one was going to be a track bike, then it was going to have a daylight mot and no lights, and now its going to have a full mot with just one headlight. I got hold of a new set of race fairings off ebay, got them slapped on, and today I've cut a big hole in it for a headlight! Also, a friend of mine has been busy with the sharpie on the side lol
Obviously, thread is useless without pics so:

Basically so far obviously I've got the fairing fitted, rebuilt and painted the front calipers. and just some other bits and bobs like clean the carbs, change coolant etc.
Jobs I need to do include get a new battery, fit some kind of rear light, get a number plate, source and fit a screen, the same goes for a couple of fairing brackets and mirror stay, then maybe some paint (see my wanted thread in parts for sale lol)
Will update this post with any extra bits I do with it

Yeah the forks are pretty low, they'll be coming out for 15wt oil and a longer preload spacer soon so i'll put them back at about 10mm droppage I reckon.
The fairings were 180 plus delivery, not a bad price I say!
