NC30 1989 K Model forks switch

Hi
will 1990-1993 NC30 forks fit on a 1989 K model NC30, is there modification needed,
not sure if there is much difference apart from adjustment.

they are that similar i got confused as to which ones i had...and got the wrong internals..
You get old bikers and bold bikers, but no old bold bikers
