Re: leak please help
The circle area is a coolant transfer pipe, if that fails they are not available new but you would leak coolant not oil.
There isnt anything there i can think of that would or should leak.
Perhaps it is coming from the top of the rockerbox and working its way down?

Re: leak please help
Green colour? This sounds like the coolant you put into the engine...
The oil and petrol smell isnt too good unless the head-gasket has gone and there mixing in the combustion cycle.
Some others will have thoughts on this..

Re: leak please help
If that's really where it's coming from, the obvious thing is that the coolant hose isn't tightened on tight enough.
Other than that, there must be some type of seal between the elbow joint and the transfer pipe. Probably ust an o-ring. That might have given up. If you are lucky it'll be a "normal" metric o-ring. If it's a Honda-only job you'll have fun finding the part number?

If one has gone then the others won't be far behind, and will probably break when you disassemble to replace the one that is broken. Might as well do all of them.Neosophist wrote:there are four o-rings.. one metric round one on each end of that chromed pipe and one werid honda jobbie each side under the L shaped piece the pipe goes into

Re: leak please help
Unless one of your hoses is loose.
I've only seen the middle pipe fail once and I had to fabricate my own replacement as new ones are not available.
You really do need to track down the leak properly to its exact location and we can go from there.. if it was coolant it sohuldnt be petrol / oily unless there was hg problems.
probably running down from the rocker-box.
Spray some de-greaser / engine cleaner in there and dry everything off fully.
run the bike witohut the panels on and use a flashlight to isolate the leak.. let me know where its coming from and we can find a fix for it!
