Hi guys im just wondering if you guys have any experience with gettin rid of corrosion and making the engine block etc look like new / Good?

Yes you have 2 choices.

Full strip down and vapour blast

Elbow grease and abrasive pads.

no, i presume the laquer would melt... every other week just spray some WD and rub it to get the grease and dirt off ....

thats what i would do anyway

To be honest you could also re-paint the engine block, an easy way of doing it is using a wire brush attachment on a drill to get all the old paint etc off, then giving it a good clean and sanding then using some engine enamel paint on it.

I would go for the steam cleaning treatment and then clean regularly after that, 'cause I'm lazy.

Also it is possible to get VHT lacquer, but I don't know if it's any good.

Yeah i was refering tho VHT lacquer for the engine block normal lacquer would be pointless and yeah im gonna look at doin it in winter :)
