Post by DK-Tandy » Thu Mar 31, 2011 6:38 pm

How the fuck do you fit them... ive fitted them before with no problems, just got my chain and sprocs, went to fit the rear wheel and the left hand side pad wont stay in place it keeps coming out and swinging down..

why?

how can i get around it before i pick the bike up and throw it across my garden...

sorted it now guys :)

after takeing 5 mins off, i went back and noticed that i have a screw kinder hting missing from my rear caliper meaning that the capiler was coming off the caliper holder which prevent the outer pad from resting on the caliper at the back...

does that make sense?

Yes. Here's a tip - there should ever be any bits left over, especially when working on brakes!
