nc30 carb heatshield
Want to make shield for my carbs because it won't idle properly when in traffic jam or hot weather. I was thinking of using something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/motorcyc ... ccessories material has anyone done something like this before, Or can someone make a photo of a HRC airtray with a ruler next to it for scale so I can shape the shield similarly?

Re: nc30 carb heatshield
What do you want to make?
I'm very wary of disturbing the carbs and airbox. In my experience any alterations to the airbox cause me problems.
What problem are you trying to solve?

How hard can it be?

Re: nc30 carb heatshield
Problem is that the carbs are overheating, so I want to isolate them from the heads. Not going to touch the airbox.
