RGV 250M VJ22
Well after the thread I started the other day I found this on ebay 20 miles up the road from me, i was after a mk2 rs250 but this fit's the bill to start me off on two strokes, sent dm a couple of pm's last night as i didn't really have a clue about it and he seemed to think that it looked like a decent bike.
With that in mind off I went to have a look at it.
The seller was a really nice chap and he knew his stuff about them, the only reason he is selling it is to but a rg500.

and with its standard fairings on

Plan is to get the suspension set up properly, it has an after market rear shock fitted but I couldn't see a make on it , the original bodywork is all intact and in good condition for the age but I will get it tidied up at some point. the fairing on it are the cheapies from ebay but i was really surprised by the quality of it.
The sound of the pipes is amazing and i cant wait to get it home .

Nice, I was actually checking that out last night, looks a tidy example. I actually prefer the VJ21's to the 22's, I rode quite a few back when they were released and the 21's always seemed a bit more nimble and nippy. Regardless, that looks like a good buy.
