No your be better off putting a ignitech cdi on, that is unless the HRC unit is cheap, i sold a ignitech a while ago for £100 and i doubt your get a HRC one for less

I reckon my racebike goes better with the standard cdi, so I sold the hrc unit.

Another Oz racer actually saw losses on the dyno with the hrc unit fitted.

Go figure? :?:

I reckon you are not being offered a CDI for £90 - you are getting a speedo restricton remover...nothing else.

HRC ignition box.. This is a TCI box too not a CDI if you want to be picky.

It isn't worth just bolting onto a bike as it is designed to work with all of the other HRC components.

You can buy an ignitech box, there is one on ebay for 90.00 at the moment, that are programmable. You can put the same HRC map in it or program it to suit your needs.
