Can i refurb a NC24 shock myself
My NC24 shock is leaking (I have now found out why, the preload was set to max and i hit a large bump in the road with my mate on the back the other day)
Is there anyway i can refurbish this myself?
EDIT: Looked at one on ebay and the one on ebay had a fill port for the gas to be inserted into the shock, mine dont have this (mines a SHOWA shock)
could mine just be all oil filled??

wasn't it looking like it was leaking a year ago?
I don't think you'll be able to service it yourself. Either a 2nd hand replacement or send it away for servicing

Yea it was looking like it was leaking, but i cleaned it all off and aint seen any problems with it.
I think it was this large bump that finished the shock off as when i took it off the bike today it poured oil all over the floor.

Short answer..no - the ballache is not worth it.
Get a working 2nd hand one.
You'd need to change the seals, the oil and figure out how to repressurise the shock..when it doesn't have a valve for you to do it..
