Rvf standard rear shock

Post by scottyv4 »

Hi everyone,

Could anyone possibly tell me what colour the spring is on a standard rear shock for an nc35?? do different models have different colours?

The reason i ask is because i'm going to view a bike on the weekend and the lady who owns doesn't really know much about it and she got it from her japanese friend and has only done about 2000km on it since 07.. she has sent me pics of the bike and it looks very nice, but the shock spring is a purple colour and it looks like it could be a maxton rear shock..??

any ideas??

regards,

scotty

 haha, nice try..

looks like that may well be a deciding factor in the purchase...

any idea if there's any other rear shock conversions for the nc35 that could be purple in colour???

@ludacris - yeah it looks like it is a hyperpro spring on the standard shock. Could possibly have the hyperpro fork springs in it too but will have to check when i change the oil and seals.

nice scotty. anything is better than the stock spring and if the entire shock has been rebuilt than thats another bonus for u :) i need to listen to my own reasoning and change my rear shock

i'm going to hijack the thread a bit and ask if anyone knows whether you can still fit the 600rr or gsxr shocks with the Tyga rc211v tail? and is the battery box and undertray a problem?
