Pit Engine Starter???

Hi am interested to know what engine was used for the this custom made pit engine starter, very cool and could come in handy, just interested more then anything and ideas thanks???

Looks like it's from an open framed honda generator engine.

I remember racing in the 400 series with this guy as i recognised the bike, from a few years back, wondered if anyone new of him: Anthony Thomas

I remember him top bloke and his dad, helped me out at the Brands Hatch centenary meeting in 09 with a rear shock after mine collapsed, if I remember correctly Colin Martin (yerman) brought one of his bikes off him but I could be mistaken!
