on = short bit facing upwards. long bit facing down
off = the other way innit. ;)

noob question forgiven and i have actually made the school boy error of riding whilst forgetting to turn the tap after a fill up :oops:

are you saying you rode with the reserve on? Im intending to do that all the time to get 17L instead of 15? is that not good?

aye weve all done it, my fav was the killswitch after having a alarm installed. I even called the guy back out, he wasnt impressed, i felt like tool of the year :oops:

Funny thing is I never actually learn from it. Vacuum pipe has caught me out now about 4 times. Must be my age!

I'd prefer to use the trip, I've been told 200ks fill up?? nevermind the 3k hill to get to my suburb from town....LOL there aint no pushing up that...so once fuels gone and it cuts out...isnt that bad for engine?

lol the dealer delivered it with kill switch but it just came to me to check it...lucky :whistle:

Running it out of fuel wont do any damage, dragging the crap from the bottom of the tank will cause you no end of headaches tho. Why do you feel the need to run it to reserve all the time?
