Where can i get hold of big bore pistons from for 3tj1 1989 model?

i was under the impression you can go 1mm over bore max, but i may be wrong, i could only get genuine pistons when i looked in to it from yamaha.

You can get 1mm over size pistons direct from Yamaha no problems. I have just rebuilt my engine wth them and all the parts took about a week to arrive.

if ya dont mine me asking/telling how much was it for them? im on the look out for a decent set of 3tj pistons but its looking like im gona have 2 buy new probley.

I'll check when I get home. The total bill came to £1200.00 but that included valves, bearings etc as well as the pistons and rings.
