Limited Edition nc42
Just seen this on visordown, looks like a rethink in 400s from Honda, lets hope they come to the uk.

I am with you on this. they look great IMO. if they were sub 5K (which i bet they wouldn't be) i would buy one without question.

One of the chaps on another forum I frequent just picked up a 2010 pre-reg 600 Hornet for £4995, so going on that, £5k would sadly not see many of them sold, and that's not considering they'd be bound to cost more like £6k anywayCRM wrote:I am with you on this. they look great IMO. if they were sub 5K (which i bet they wouldn't be) i would buy one without question.

I always did find it disappointing that they dropped the CB-1's cam gears and mono shock for the later CB400's.

Yes the price is one of those drawbacks and will no doubt stop Honda UK from even thinking about it but at least its a new (out of the factory) 400 that most here can appreciate and not one of those single cylinder jobbies that the CBR250 turned into. I would like to own one myself but limited to 500 you just know they will be all sold out. I like the naked version and with that red frame it looks great.

It is expensive (it costs more in Oz than the cb600), but you get a fully sorted jewel of a bike.Durka Durka wrote:Yes the price is one of those drawbacks and will no doubt stop Honda UK from even thinking about it
Regardless of price, it was the 2nd highest selling naked bike in Oz last year (Harley's/cruisers being excluded from the naked category). I often see new ones parked up, gorgeous bikes.

They have a deservedly excellent reputation in Australia. Pity we don't get the limited edition... I would be tempted to sign on the dotted line.
