general modifications/tweaks

Post by speccy »

i've just bought an nc29 and was wondering what kind of general things you can do to improve the bike chassis/engine wise as i love tinkering-dont want to go over the top and ruin it but would like to freshen it up a bit.thanks.

Yep what mikiboy said about the rear shock as that will improve it no end, and make sure you get the valve clearances done when they are due. Mr france does a ride in ride out service of this for not much money but that does depend on where you are based in the country.
Most of all you've made an excellent choice of purchase and welcome :D

hello mate...whereabouts in Notts are you?

Graeme is in North Lincs about an hours ride.

Oh and you dont need the linkage for the NC29 the CBR600 F3 shock will bolt right on in.

Often come out your way in the Summer there is that twisty road from Radcliffe to Gunthorpe, then we normally head towards Southwell after a drink at the Unicorn

Welcome Speccy.
Just out of curiosity did you happen to buy your bike off a guy in Hucknall?
